I'm Layomi Akinnifesi. Being born in Nigeria and growing up all around the world, I've visited over 25 different countries and hope to visit more whenever the opportunity comes!  

 

Things I love: Jesus, reading, writing, listening to music, tv shows, cultural food, and Oreos (the possible inspiration for the color scheme of my website).

 

Ironically it is rare to find me in picture albums because I'm always the one behind the camera (and I prefer it that way). In the mist of volunteering to photograph family events and gathering with friends, I quickly developed an interest in photography which soon turned into a passion. Perhaps because pictures are my way of telling stories, capturing emotions, and honing down on aspects in life that are often overlooked, or perhaps its just an excuse to avoid having my pictures taken, either one :)  Now, with all (terribly cheesy) jokes aside, I truly do treasure every opportunity to capture individuals in their happiest moments.
